nH2O is a comprehensive calculator designed for assessing various thermodynamic properties of steam and water. This tool leverages the Modular Modeling System (MMS), specifically utilizing its steam property library, which includes a combination of routines, polynomial equations, and table interpolations to deliver precise thermodynamic data.

The accuracy of nH2O is noteworthy; it provides precision within +/- 0.24% for all subcooled liquids and superheated vapor properties over a pressure range of 0.01 to 6,000 psia and enthalpy values from 100 Btu/lbm to 1600 Btu/lbm, specifically outside the saturation region. In the saturated region, properties remain precise to within +/- 0.24% across pressures spanning from 0.1 psia to 3,200 psia.

The calculator facilitates the determination of:

• Saturation Properties as a function of Pressure (P)
• Saturation Properties as a function of Temperature (T)
• Subcooled, Saturation, and Superheated properties as functions of Pressure & Enthalpy (PH)
• Subcooled, Saturation, and Superheated properties as functions of Pressure & Temperature (PT)

Properties calculated include: Pressure (P), Temperature (T), Enthalpy (h), Entropy (s), Specific Volume (v), Density (ρ), and Quality (x).

Additionally, nH2O accommodates both US Conventional units and Conventional SI units for versatile application.
